چکیده
Fluctuations in renewable energy production, especially from solar and wind plants, can be solved by large-scale storage. One of the possibilities is storing form hydrogen or methane–hydrogen blends. A viable alternative for salt caverns Lined Rock Cavern (LRC) underground most significant challenges LRC storage sealing liners, which need to have satisfactory mechanical properties. An experimental study permeability different kinds polymers was conducted, followed modeling these materials with additives (graphite, halloysite fly ash). Fillers an impact on ratio reduce amount polymer required make a liner reservoir. Results this show that coefficients estimated leakage through are similar results rock after creep process. PERFORMANCE OF AB, ALLOYS FOR HYDROGEN STORAGE AND HYDRIDE ELECTRODES
Two types of hydride electxodes are potential candidates to replace the Cd elecsode in NilCd batteries, One is of the A type where A is a rare earth metal or mixture thereof, and B is the transition metal. The other is commonly referred to as A type. A , type alloys with partial substitution of the B element in A type hydride material (Ovonic) with Co, Mn, Al, and Fe were studied (A compo...

■ This paper offers an overview of the technologies for hydrogen production. The technologies discussed are reforming of natural gas; gasification of coal and biomass; and the splitting of water by water-electrolysis, photo-electrolysis, photo-biological production and hightemperature decomposition. For all hydrogen production processes, there is a need for significant improvement in plant effi...
متن کاملThermodynamic Modeling of Hydrogen Storage Capacity in Mg-Na Alloys
Thermodynamic modeling of the H-Mg-Na system is performed for the first time in this work in order to understand the phase relationships in this system. A new thermodynamic description of the stable NaMgH3 hydride is performed and the thermodynamic models for the H-Mg, Mg-Na, and H-Na systems are reassessed using the modified quasichemical model for the liquid phase. The thermodynamic propertie...
متن کاملHydrogen storage in carbon nanotubes with Ni nanoparticles by electrochemical
In this paper, the electrochemical hydrogen storage in nanocomposite materials was studied. Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNTs) electrode was prepared by mixing with special composite. The optimum ratio of MWCNTs was estimated 30-70% (w/w) in the composite material. MWCNTs were synthesized by Chemical vapor deposition (CVD). The nanocomposite was homogenized by microwave. Cyclic voltammetry ...
